The symbol of the 13-rayed Sun
a symbol of great significance

For some people, the symbol of the 13-rayed Sun is much more than just a beautiful piece of gold jewelry. This symbol accompanies Braco’s work and is considered a visible expression of what he gives invisibly through his gaze. The symbol was also of great importance to Braco’s predecessor, Ivica Prokić.

Ivica Prokić had intuitively discovered this sun symbol and printed it on all his books. Braco was the first to have this symbol made as a piece of jewelry from 14-karat gold. He gave it to Ivica out of gratitude. Shortly after, Ivica gave an identical Sun pendant back to Braco. Later, all members of their team received a Sun symbol pendant. Today, everyone can wear the symbol of the 13-rayed sun as a piece of jewelry.

The symbol of the Sun is found in many great cultures of the past, as the Sun is the giver and guarantor of all life on our planet. However, the symbol of the Sun that accompanies Braco’s work has very special characteristics. It is a Sun with 13 rays. People who wear it often describe a feeling of protection and a stronger connection to themselves and to their inner strength.

It is the strongest symbol I have ever seen. (Plečko)

Drago Plečko studied biochemistry in Zagreb and graduated with a master’s degree. His thirst for knowledge and inner urge to learn more about himself and the internal dimension of human life led him to travel around the world for 30 years. On his travels, he met almost all the important masters, teachers and curators of wisdom then living.

Drago Plečko is a recognized scientist on spiritual and parascientific topics in Croatia and surrounding countries. For him, Braco’s Sun symbol is the most powerful symbol he has seen during his 30 years of seeking around the globe. He sees it as a symbol of historical significance. It unites in itself the opposites of life in each person.

Drago Plečko writes in his book Mysterium Braco 3:

Symbols that are effective must have a special meaning in order to unite in human consciousness all those contradictions and inconsistencies that accompany man until the end of his life. Such a concept has always been called filius solis et lunae, ‘the son of the Sun and the Moon,’ or the harmony of yin and yang. The Sun is clearly symbolized by its physical appearance and the Moon by the number of rays – 13, which, as we have already noted, represents the 13 months of the lunar year, i.e. the energy of the Moon, which, according to some schools of thought, reflects the processes that take place in the unconscious part of our personality. It’s striking how Ivica Prokić, Braco’s predecessor, a simple man, through his intuition, created such a powerful symbol of something that the brightest minds of 20th-century psychoanalysis still argue about. The affinity of so many people for this symbol testifies to its archetypal power.”

“The symbol, the Sun with thirteen rays, is not the symbol of the Sun in the sky, but of the Sun within us, which should illuminate our lives from within and bring us joy and happiness, whether we drive a Rolls Royce or an old clunker, whether we look to the future with hope or fear.”

Braco in a conversation with Croatian scientist Drago Plečko

The Sun symbol as a piece of jewelry is available at many events with Braco or in the online store.
