How is it possible that a simple gaze can give people so much? What is it in Braco’s gaze so that for some visitors to his events, there’s literally a spontaneous brightening of the inner life, dark and heavy feelings fade away, and people can laugh again after decades without a smile? Many report feelings of deep peace, happiness and joy and an invigorating energy flowing through their bodies. Some report that after meeting Braco, years of problems were miraculously resolved and concrete improvements occurred in their lives. Others claim that physical ailments disappeared and they found a positive balance in their lives. Even some people who unintentionally attended an event without knowing anything about Braco report spontaneous positive changes and can perceive a clearly noticeable uplifting force within themselves as soon as Braco gazes out at the group.

Who is Braco, this man who so many people around the world want to meet? He has an academic education, comes from Zagreb in Croatia, is married and has a son. In 1995, after a calamitous stroke of fate, Braco discovered his gift for helping people to improve their lives. Braco doesn’t consider himself to be a healer. He describes his work in a few words as “giving help.”

He has no influence over whether or not a visitor experiences improvement or in what form. Braco speaks with great respect about that which is working through him. He himself is amazed when he learns what visitors to his events have experienced. He doesn’t see his work as a substitute for medical treatment.

In his own way, Braco offers something that visitors can either accept or not accept. This something becomes a reality for visitors who perceive concrete changes in themselves and in their lives. At the same time, the encounter with Braco and his gaze doesn’t require any special preparation. It’s enough to simply meet Braco’s gaze during an event.

International Peace Prize

In 2012, Braco received an international peace prize, the `Peace Pole,’ from a UN organization in New York. Before Braco, this peace prize had been awarded to the Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa. Rev. Deborah Moldow of the United States, who represented the UN organization, stated:
“It’s time to build a new culture of peace, and that’s where Braco comes in. I believe that’s exactly what Braco conveys through his gaze; he gives each person a personal experience of peace. (…) When we presented Braco with the ‘Peace Pole,’ it was a very special moment. It was not only the presentation of the Peace Prize, but also an opportunity for people from the United Nations who had gathered there to recognize Braco as an ‘Ambassador of Peace.’”
A documentary about Braco’s world-wide work, titled “The Power of Silence” (available in translation in 27 languages on YouTube: Braco official channel), which also features famed author Paulo Coelho, premiered in Hollywood and New York in late 2016. Among others, Naomi Campbell came to the premiere and was thrilled by it.

I first learned about Braco years ago and attended an event in Munich with some medical colleagues and a psychologist. We were initially very surprised but also impressed by Braco’s courage to stand silently in front of approximately 4500 people in Munich without speaking a single word. Upon further research, the striking improvements in various areas of life that some visitors experienced after encountering Braco’s gaze were convincing. Braco’s gaze obviously conveys something invisible that can literally lift people to a higher inner level. This is so deeply touching for some visitors to experience that words cannot describe the inner changes. What Braco conveys through his silent gaze cannot be perceived with the external senses, but can be experienced in the soul.

After an event with Braco at a large convention in Hamburg, the director asked me what Braco was doing so that after a few minutes of his gaze, so many people in the hall were simply happy. This is something you notice again and again after events with Braco. Many visitors who leave the hall have a smile on their face. They seem to radiate from the inside out. Experts assume that there’s something in Braco’s gaze that deeply harmonizes the inner life of people.

The well-known Swiss scientist Professor Alex Schneider describes it this way:

“Braco doesn’t approach people to fight a particular evil. He wants to reach them in a very deep, mostly unconscious area. When this is brought to life, harmonized, made more conscious, then physical, mental and social disorders disappear.”

Others speak of the fact that through Braco’s gaze, people’s inner life can be revived or illuminated. Some believe that a great love works through his gaze and helps people. I’ve often seen visitors cry tears of relief during the events when they sense the changes in themselves.

In an unexpected and amazing way, some visitors’ social environment is positively affected. Striking improvements are seen in some visitors after attending an event with Braco, not only in their circumstances, but also in personal relationships that had been severely disrupted for years or even decades. To bring things full circle, there are even intangible long-distance effects when visitors bring photos of friends and loved ones to events. Some of them experience improvements soon afterwards, even though they weren’t there in person.

For some people, the encounter with Braco is an encounter with themselves. Through the evident revitalization of their inner life, they gain access to a level within themselves that was previously closed. The life of the soul changes and takes on a new and unfamiliar dimension. As some visitors describe, the feelings of love, peace, joy, and optimism come from the depths of their own souls. These are the first signs of an inner awakening.
